1979
I grew up on the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I could say that I’m a painter, graphic designer, photographer, or coder, but really I’m just a person who loves to create. I don’t much care what the medium is as long as the goal is to create something complete, well-thought out, and aesthetically pleasing. When I’m not working, I enjoy travelling, exercising, great food and meeting new people.
1997
My first photorealistic portrait was inspired by the tragic passing of Princess Diana. Using a newspaper clipping of Princess Diana’s photograph, I labored intensely trying to capture the essence of her likeness. Although I had a great passion for art before this moment, it turned out so well that I decided to get serious about becoming an artist.

After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the printing technology program at the John S. Donaldson Technical Institute in Trinidad. To gain experience in the industry I worked as a printing press operator at a local firm in the evenings.
2002
Following my printing technology certification, I enrolled in the Visual Arts program at the University of the West Indies. While pursuing my BA in visual arts I also took part in several art exhibitions, was commissioned to do a painting for the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, and designed the first mural to be placed on the campus.
